Next year promises to be an exciting one, with over 150 elementary band students in the Clovis South Area- the band is quickly growing and we want you to be a part of it! Making music at the intermediate and high school levels in Clovis USD is a great experience for students and rewarding thing to see as a parent.

We offer Concert Bands, a New Jazz Band for Sanchez IS, Percussion Ensembles, and more all within a BRAND NEW BAND HALL!
Fall Concerts, Football Games, Parties, Fundraiser Nights, and a Disneyland trip for eligible band members!
FAQ’s
Can I be in Band and do a sport?
YES! We want you to pursue what fulfills you in mind, body, and spirit!
Can I do Band and another performing art or elective at TBEC?
YES! Be sure to tell the counseling staff that you want to do Band and another elective, so they can get you a 0 Period PE or Lunch PE option!
What groups can I be in as an incoming 7th Grader?
Incoming TBEC Band members will be placed in either a specialized class based on instrument or will be placed in the 8th Grade Concert Band or Concert Percussion Class early. Anyone can also ADD Sanchez Lab Jazz, our Intermediate School Jazz Band!
If I wasn’t in Band before, can I join now?
Absolutely! Being in Band at the elementary level is an amazing thing, and the experience is valuable, but musicianship and music reading is still viable for students wanting to learn as they come to TBEC!
